Date of First Practice: August 8, 2023

Location and Time of First Practice:  7am meeting at CHS 

Note: If you are swimming at a club meet during the high school season, you must fill out a non-school competition form and return to your coach before your non-school meet.

Team Selection: During the 1st week of practice, [Tuesday, 8/8- Wednesday, 8/16] all swimmers will be timed in the following events: 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 50 breaststroke, 50 butterfly and 100 freestyle. Swimmers will be ranked in each event, and cumulative rankings will be used to cut the team total to 48 swimmers. In addition, 6 spots will be available for divers. 

Equipment Needed: Swim suit for practice, along with cap, goggles, and water bottle. Competition suit must be purchased after a few days.
