Brian Scheunemann

Scheunemann attended Cedarburg High School from 1966-1970 and was a standout athlete on the hardwood, participating in three sports. In basketball, he was an outstanding player, accumulating honors such as team MVP, All-Conference selection and Third Team All-State during his playing career. Scheunemann averaged 21.0 points per game and 15.6 rebounds per game. He posted a career high 41 points in a game, which was a school record for 40 years.

 

Scheunemann lettered four times in track and field and was a State Qualifier in the 220-yard dash in 1968. He also played football his junior and senior year, lettering twice playing End and Defensive Back.  

 

After graduating Cedarburg, he was a star center at Carthage College. Scheunemann played varsity for three years scoring 1,330 points and was All-CCIW team for three years. Other college accomplishments include: NAIA District 14 Team, All-Wisconsin Independent College Association Team and All-Crusader Classic Tournament Team.
